L’Étape du Tour de France 2027 promises to be an exceptional challenge in the heart of the Alps!
On 11 July 2027, 16,000 amateur cyclists will have the opportunity to experience the Tour de France like never before, riding along the same roads as the professionals, from Cluses, in Haute-Savoie, to Les Saisies, in Savoie.
The route features 154 km, 4,850 m of elevation gain and 5 major climbs, offering a spectacular yet demanding challenge through Alpine valleys, legendary mountain passes and breathtaking landscapes.
From the very first kilometres, riders will be thrown straight into the action with the ascent of the Col de la Colombière (15.9 km at 7%), before crossing the Aravis mountain range, the Arly Valley and the Beaufortain region.
But riders will need to save some energy for the final stretch! After the magnificent Col du Pré, near Lake Roselend, they will face the formidable Bisanne climb (12.4 km at 8.3%), the last major challenge before reaching the high-altitude finish line in Les Saisies.
With 4,850 m of elevation gain, L’Étape du Tour de France 2027 promises an outstanding sporting challenge that will require thorough preparation to cross the finish line within the time limit.
