Several food and liquid refreshment points will be located along the route, at the following points:

Keep in mind that no beakers will be handed out this year. You will have to use your own bottles instead!

L'Étape du Tour de France has been working for years to make an impact through its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy (find out more here: + lien vers la page L’Etape engagée), but we need your help.

Please respect the unique environment that hosts L'Étape du Tour de France. We still see too much litter on the roadsides and too many cases of irresponsible behaviour on our roads.

From now, any rider caught disposing of waste outside the areas set up for such purpose will be disqualified.

A left-luggage service is available in the starting area. If you want to, you can leave your belongings here in the morning of the race, before heading to your starting section. Remember to attach the label contained in your race number envelope to your bag before handing it over to our organising teams. Do not leave any valuable items in your bag.

A secured area will be set up in the Promenade du Paillon, next to the village, to drop off your bike so that you can take advantage of the entertainment and activities and our exhibitors’ and partners’ stands.

TIMES:

  • Friday 4th September: 10.00 – 19.00
  • Saturday 5th September: 10.00 – 19.00
  • Sunday 6th September: 11.00 – 20.30

Once again this year Mavic will be providing you with assistance throughout the Étape du Tour de France. This means that they will be with you in the village, on some of the feeding stations and also in vehicles up and down the route to provide you with neutral assistance and help you make it to the finish in the best possible conditions. We nevertheless recommend that you carry a puncture repair kit and two inner tubes with you at all times.

Don’t hesitate to take advantage of the brand’s expert advice if you have a problem!

Discover Mavic’s mechanical assistance technicians at the Étape du Tour Village on Friday.

There will be 25 road captains in L'Étape du Tour de France. They will be distributed among start waves 6 to 15 and will be there to coach, motivate and help competitors so that nothing can stop them on their way to the finish line!

On duty for 3 days

  • Friday: they will be in attendance to accompany registered participants who wish to reconnoitre the Col de Turini pass.
  • Saturday: on duty at the French Cycling Federation stand, where you can go to meet them and ask them any last-minute questions you may have.
  • Sunday: coaching and helping competitors overcome the difficulties of the 30rd Étape du Tour de France.

A breakfast stand will be open on Sunday from 5.30 to 8.30 at the Étape du Tour de France village.

An information point will be available on 4th, 5th and 6th September in Nice.

If you witness a serious accident, call the emergency number +33 9 79 98 18 19 (also found on your race number) and tell the operator at what kilometre point it has taken place. You can also call this number to alert the race CP if there are any problems with the course. A family information point will be set up next to the pasta party in the finish Village.

Remember that there will be first aid stations along the course and at the finish where you can seek assistance if you get hurt.

Keep calm if an accident occurs.

  • There will be 11 ambulances and 10 doctors on duty on the course.
  • You will get help
  • Your bicycle will be taken to the finish (where you can retrieve it upon presentation of your race number)
